A retirement card that plays like a tribute video, with nothing to film

Collect retirement messages from coworkers, former colleagues and family with one link. They play for the retiree as a show, with no video to film or edit.

To Mrs. Okafor

This is a sample card. Every person, company and message in it is made up.

A long career leaves people everywhere: the current team, coworkers who moved on years ago, former students or clients, and family. A tribute video or a video message from coworkers would mean asking each of them to record a clip, then cutting the clips together. Here everyone writes a message from their phone instead, and the messages play for the retiree as a show.

Retirement question slips

Pick the retirement occasion and these question slips are ready. Each signer picks one, so the messages come out as stories rather than a page of “Happy retirement!” You can edit the slips or add more, up to eight in all.

Reaching people from every part of a career

Playing it at the retirement party

Connect a laptop to the projector and open the viewing link. The stage fits the wide screen, the room watches the messages arrive one by one, and the right arrow key moves to the next one when someone wants to read aloud. After the party, the retiree keeps the same link with no time limit.

Can people who left the company sign?

Yes. Anyone with the writing link can write, from any phone or computer, without an account.

Can family sign too?

Yes. Grandchildren can even draw a doodle with a finger, and it plays back as they drew it.

Can the retiree keep it on paper?

Yes, with the keepsake: an A3 poster and A4 pages holding every message, in one PDF to print, bought from the viewing link.

Is this online group retirement card free?

Yes. Making the card, gathering everyone’s messages and the viewing link cost nothing. The keepsake is the only paid part, and it’s optional.

If people get stuck, send them the retirement message examples.

Make a retirement card

Making a card and the viewing link are free. Only the person who makes the card signs in, with a Google account.
